Compression Leggings & Shorts
Compression Leggings and Shorts for Lower-Body Lymphedema Support
Compression leggings and shorts apply graduated pressure across the legs, hips, and abdomen to support circulation and slow fluid pooling. Many women turn to them for lymphedema, lipedema, post-surgical swelling, or daily venous concerns. The styles in this collection are medical grade and come in compression classes that match what your physician or fitter recommends. Sizing is precise and measurement-based, not your usual pant size.
Our Lymphedema/Compression Certified Fitter is available by phone at 877-413-2272, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM EST, to walk you through compression class, length, and the measurements that matter most before you order.
Which Compression Class Is Right for You?
Compression garments are usually grouped into 15 to 20 mmHg, 20 to 30 mmHg, and 30 to 40 mmHg ranges. Lighter classes suit mild swelling and travel. Higher classes are typically prescribed for chronic lymphedema or venous insufficiency. Confirm the class with your physician before ordering. The wrong class can either underperform or restrict circulation, so it is worth a quick call to a fitter if you are between ranges.
How Do You Measure for the Best Fit?
A proper fit comes from accurate measurements, not your usual pant size. You will measure ankle, calf, knee, thigh, and hip circumference, plus inseam length. Measure first thing in the morning before swelling builds. Our fitter walks you through it on the phone.
Common Questions About Compression Leggings and Shorts
Do I need a prescription for compression leggings?
Light compression below 20 mmHg is usually available without a prescription. Most insurers and many physicians ask for one at higher levels. Bring the prescription to your fitter so the class and length match.
How long does a compression garment last?
With daily wear and proper care, most medical-grade compression garments retain effective pressure for about three to six months. Replace earlier if the fabric loses snap or feels easier to pull on than it did when new.
Can I wear compression shorts during exercise?
Yes. Many women wear them for walking, yoga, and low-impact training. Pick a moisture-wicking fabric and a class that allows a comfortable range of motion.
